About Me

The Origin of My Why ~

My journey did not begin with a single event, but rather with a collection of moments—small, tender scenes that have left an indelible imprint on my soul. I remember sitting with my grandparents as a child, listening to tales of days gone by: stories of courage, laughter, sorrow, and wisdom hard-earned. Their hands, weathered by time, would gently pat mine as they spoke, their eyes twinkling with memories that stretched back through decades.

As I grew older, I began to notice the world’s shifting gaze. Where once the wisdom of age was celebrated, it now seemed that the elderly were becoming invisible, their voices fading into the background of an ever-busier world. I saw elders in care facilities, their rooms filled with silence, their hearts filled with stories longing for a kind ear. I saw the yearning in their eyes for someone to witness their lives, to validate their existence, to simply say, “You matter.”

It was in these quiet observations that my why began to crystallize. I could not ignore the truth: our seniors deserve better. They deserve to be seen, heard, cherished, and honored—not just in birth or in youth, but in every breath until their final one.
